The Green Fire Exhibition at the Eco-Shrine
An exhibition of 17 new paintings by Diana Graham opened on Saturday 30th September 2006 in the Green Fire Gallery adjacent to the Eco-Shrine. The exhibition celebrated the 10 years of the Eco-Shrine and coincided with the flowers of the Spring season in Hogsback. Tim Wigley, teacher of Natural Farming methods and Deep Ecology thinker and activist, opened the exhibition. The opening ceremony included a dedication by Anne Keating and a prayer by Father Charles Lagan. The paintings take the form of pages from a contemporary illuminated manuscript. The paintings are in matching pairs - and there is one triptych. Most of the Green Fire Exhibition paintings have been sold though they are shown here.
